Pattern Details

Skirt Type: Classic fitted pencil skirt

Length: Below the knee

Fabric: Medium-weight non-stretch fabric

Closure: Invisible zipper or regular zipper at center back

Waistband: Contoured waistband for a clean, comfortable fit

Fit: Fitted through the waist and hips with comfortable ease

Slit: Optional back slit for ease of walking

Materials Needed

• Medium-weight non-stretch fabric
• Regular or invisible zipper
• Fusible interfacing
• Matching thread
• Sewing machine
• Measuring tape
• Pattern paper
• Ruler
• Pencil
• Scissors

MEASUREMENTS

Waist: Measure around the natural waistline.

Hips: Measure around the fullest part of the hips.

Waist to Hip: Measure from the waistline down to the fullest part of the hip.

Skirt Length: Measure from the waistline down to your desired finished length.

Important: Take all measurements while standing naturally, without pulling the tape too tight.
